Start with the RIGHT Assessment – Every pool has a different story!

Before choosing a coating, it’s important to understand what’s happening underneath it.
With extensive experience and successful applications across hundreds of pools over the last decade, we can assist with everything from DIY residential projects through to complete commercial pool assessments.

We look at the condition of the pool surface, cracks, joints, surrounds and decks to help determine what needs to be repaired, prepared or replaced before a new coating system is applied.

Whether you’re dealing with a tired residential pool or a large commercial facility, we can help identify the right approach for the job.

Pool Restoration Projects

Our experience isn’t just about products on a shelf.
We’ve been involved in the restoration of pools across the region, including local council swimming facilities and commercial pool complexes.
From major refurbishments through to targeted repairs, these projects demonstrate the range of problems we can help solve—and the different systems required to get the job done properly.

Concrete Pool Crack Repairs

Cracks in concrete pool structures can be effectively repaired using specialised epoxy crack injection systems. The process involves carefully preparing the crack and installing injection nozzles along its length, allowing the epoxy resin to penetrate deep into the concrete and bond the structure back together. Once the injection process is complete, the surface can be prepared and finished to create a clean, seamless appearance. Our crack repair systems can then be incorporated into the wider pool restoration process, including the application of compatible protective or decorative pool coatings.

Pool Joint Sealing Applications and Systems

Pool joints are critical areas that require flexible, durable sealing systems to accommodate movement while maintaining a watertight and protected finish. Using proven systems such as Sika Combiflex, we can repair and seal joints within swimming pools and surrounding structures. The application process involves careful surface preparation and installation of the joint sealing system, creating a flexible barrier designed to manage movement and help prevent water ingress. Once installed, the system can be incorporated into the overall pool coating process, including the application of compatible coatings and finishes to achieve a clean, professional appearance.

Our epoxy coating systems can form part of a targeted refurbishment, addressing joints and coatings, or a complete restoration incorporating structural repairs, joint sealing, pool coatings and surrounding areas. With the right preparation and system selection, we help transform tired, damaged and deteriorated pool surfaces into durable, clean and professionally finished facilities

It’s More Than a Fresh Coat of Paint

What Goes into a Successful Pool Restoration?

A deteriorating pool surface can be the visible sign of a much larger issue.
Cracks, failed joints, peeling coatings and damaged concrete all need to be considered before applying a new coating system. That’s why every successful pool restoration starts with understanding the condition of the pool and surrounding surfaces.

Pool surface assessment
Concrete crack repair
Joint preparation and sealing
Abrasive blasting
Removal of failed coatings
Surface preparation
Epoxy pool coatings
Pool surround coatings and sealers
Slip-resistance coating systems
Lane marking and numbering

We can manage the job too or we also understand that not every project requires a contractor!

For residential pool owners and swimming complexes with committee volunteers, we can provide product selection, preparation advice and detailed application instructions for DIY application of epoxy and chlorinated pool coating systems.

Have a Pool That Needs Attention?

Whether you’re dealing with cracked concrete, failed joints, peeling pool paint or a worn pool surround, the first step is understanding what’s happening beneath the surface.
From DIY advice and product supply to complete commercial pool refurbishments, our team can help you find the right way forward.

From Cracks and Failing Joints to a Complete Pool Transformation

A swimming pool is a significant investment, and when cracks appear, joints begin to fail or coatings start to deteriorate, knowing where to start can be overwhelming.

Integral Coatings & Systems provides pool repair, painting and restoration solutions for everything from residential backyard pools to large commercial and public swimming facilities.

Whether you’re tackling a DIY pool refresh or managing a complete commercial refurbishment, we’re here to help from assessment through to application.

Not Every Pool Problem Needs the Same Solution

A crack isn’t always just a crack.
A failing coating may be caused by poor preparation, moisture, an incompatible previous coating or deterioration beneath the surface. Similarly, a failed pool joint may require more than simply applying new sealant.
Our experience allows us to look beyond the visible problem and help identify the right repair and coating approach for the project.
This is important because it separates Integral from a standard paint supplier.
